The X Series of subwoofers is our all around daily sub. We offer the BP option (a machined compression plug), for increased cooling and higher thermal powerhandling. A multilayer foam surround is attached to a fiber impregnated kraft pulp cone which helps keep things under control in high power applications. A 3" 4 layer aluminum voice coil yields 20mm of Xmax while keeping the motor force high. The X series will work in most enclosure types (sealed, ported, bandpass). Light weight and versatile, the X Series works in a variety of applications from incredibly detailed sound quality systems, to ground pounding multi sub monsters. It comes standard with a white Fi logo on a rigid pressed kraft cap with the option of our hard dustcap and choice of colored Fi logos.

well, I bought this sub after owning a: re audio se-x 10, Skar audio VVXV2 10,
first impressions: this subwoofer wasn't seeming to get very loud and violent. BUT, this sub does have some sound quality traits. it obviously doesn't have the pure spl traits, (I feel both the RE and SKAR where louder even though rated at lower RMS even though I added the Bp option).
was Slighty disappointed when buying this subwoofer due to the loss in the expected spl output, but I guess this sub is built well just because it was built in U.S.A.
Cant really complain, but this sub does sound clean.
Before you buy do research on what you want...

I was looking to just put a small setup in my Audi A4 off an RF 750watt amp and in a sealed box. The sub, the customer service from Fi, everything, was beyond what I have come to expect from other companies like DC and Sundown. The sub sounds great and is very musical, gets pretty loud without distorting, and performs better than any sub at this price point should. I would recommend any Fi sub to anybody!

I want to thank Nick in the sales dept. he got me my sub in great time. Fit and finish on this sub is beautiful. This thing gets crazy low my friends and I couldn't believe how low it gets. Powered by a Memphis 1000 right now so its only getting around 500RMS @ 2ohms. Getting a skar 1500 soon..Great sub clear and gets low
