Loading... Please wait...The SSD Series of subwoofers is our all around daily sub. Pulling cues from the highly successful BTL series, utilizing a single high grade ferrite magnet and a heavily bumped T-yoke to allow clearance for high excursion. Now with the option for our Heli-cool system using our billet machined solid pole, the cooling capability has been massively increased. Along with triple progressive spiders, a multilayer foam surround attached to a fiber impregnated kraft pulp cone helps keep things under control in high power applications. A 3" 4 layer copper voice coil yields 20mm of Xmax while motor force high. The 10" and 12" versions come in a standard Qts for ported and a higher Qts for sealed alignments. Light weight and versatile, the SSD works in a variety of applications from incredibly detailed sound quality systems, to ground pounding multi sub monsters. The SSD is versatility redefined.

I have been through a lot of different sub brands, I have OWNED - sundown audio Zv3 12", sound stream XXX 15's, RE Audio XXX 15's, Sound solutions audio ZCON 12's
but by far FI audio subs have a BUILD QUALITY that I had not seen in any of the other brands, however SSA is CLOSE but it still doesn't compare to FI audio. you can pound these subs and they will BEG YOU FOR MORE! I can't wait to see what is new for FI since the BTL's are no longer being sold :-( AWESOME COMPANY! AMAZING PRODUCT! BUT BEST OF ALL!!! NOT MADE IN CHINA!
PROUDLY BUILT IN THE U.S. of A!!
p.s. if your thinking of buying kicker or sony or some other chinese CRAP....think again because those subs have NOTHING ON FI Audio there is no comparison!

I've got two of these 12's fully loaded in a custom made box made to Fi's specs (tuned to 36hz) and now fully broken in after taking it kinda easy on them during the first 2 weeks on a Cresendo bc2000bd with gangs of electrical upgrades.
I have to say these are the most impressive 12's I've EVER heard/felt! I've been involved with car audio for 19 years and these things simple take the cake. Sq is there and the lows are insane. The only subs I'll be looking to buy more of. I'm totally sold on Fi's subs and craftsmanship.

I have a single 12 with out any upgrades on a audioque 1200d wired to one ohm in a 2.5cf box tuned to 34hz and it gets down! I'm almost as loud as my friend with two type r 12's on a rf t1500 and I can get my front windshield moving a bit :)
I also had it a cheap pre fab sealed box before my custom one and it sounded amazing!

Right now I have one of these in a 2.5 cubic ft box tuned to 30 hz and it is amazing how loud this thing can get on 1100 RMS. I've been playing it full tilt since the day I got it and it has yet to even get warm. This sub can face just about any song I throw at it and sound great while doing it. Just about everyone who has listened to it doesn't believe me when I tell them I only have one 12". I would definitely recommend a SSD to anyone looking for a great, quality woofer.

I have one 12" and a 1000watt rms amp, in a ported box. People hear me coming down the street, and everyone thinks i have 2 12"s or 2 15"s. Then i show them my one 12 and they about crap themselves. I have never seen a better sub period. Its sound quality is immaculate; the lows are so deep it feels like it rattles your brain. If you are buying a sub get an Fi.

I have a single 12" and no matter what you throw at it or how long you play it this thing bumps. Deferentially have yourself a reoccurring customer here
