The SSD Series of subwoofers is our all around daily sub. Pulling cues from the highly successful BTL series, utilizing a single high grade ferrite magnet and a heavily bumped T-yoke to allow clearance for high excursion. Now with the option for our Heli-cool system using our billet machined solid pole, the cooling capability has been massively increased. Along with dual heavy progressive spiders, a multilayer foam surround attached to a fiber impregnated kraft pulp cone helps keep things under control in high power applications. 8" spiders are optional with the integrated leads. A 3" 4 layer copper voice coil yields 20mm of Xmax while motor force high. The 10" and 12" versions come in a standard Qts for ported and a higher Qts for sealed alignments. Light weight and versatile, the SSD works in a variety of applications from incredibly detailed sound quality systems, to ground pounding multi sub monsters. The SSD is versatility redefined.

I have owned my fully loaded SSD for about a yr now, it took awhile to get it! But once I did I built a custom box 2.5cu.ft. tuned to 32hz and all I can say is this thing is loud! I have it wired at 1ohm on my Rockford T500 And it kills! Every tells me they can hear me cumming from blocks away. If you don't own one, You don't know what you are missing out on!!

First off have to think Nick for all the help awesome customer service. I have a 12" fi ssd fully loaded in 2.5cuft box ported to 34hz. I have to say when i first played it I was disappointed was expecting more. Emailed Nick and he told to let it break in. By end of first week it was getting louder and deeper. Its now been two weeks and I only have hu volume halfway up as well as my amp but this subwoofer is murdering my truck. Can't wait till fully broken in and can turn all the way up it might tear my truck apart. Would definitely recommend to everyone. I have had all kinds of subs since 94 and by far the hardest hitting cleanest sounding sub hands down. Buy one and you will find out.

Was skeptical of driver at first. But then I received it and knew right away =Beast. It has flex ring that huge!!! Make Kicker,Pioneer,Rockford fosgate. Sub look sick. It hits low so hard its breaking my Ranger. Got hooked up to Hifonics Brutus 1400 watt mono amp. Its pounds soo hard. If you think Built In USA is a lie. Think again you can tell by sound. Only Sub compared in anyway is TC Sounds (Audiopulse) Drivers. But I'd pick this over it any day.

Hands down! I will never purchase a subwoofer from any other company again. Fi has my continued business.
I have owned a system built on Rockford T2s and heard systems built on JL W7s. I have to say the SSD runs right there with em.(and this is Fi's entry level sub). This thing is amazing. Just one in a big ported box got louder lower than my dual rockford T2 setup.
YOU CAN HIT 140dB WITH JUST ONE OF THESE ON MUSIC.(big ported box)
If you are looking for something that gets seriously loud and sounds good doing it then my friend you have just found it.

I went from a 12 inch power acoustik mofo to the ssd 12 in a 2.5 cubic foot box and this sub hits way harder then the mofo did and the sound quality is awesome it's not sloppy sounding and can really feel the bass

Sound quality is great on the SSD, and It gets down real nice! Very Impressed with this woofer! Only issue I have is now I have to fix my map light from going nutz and get it to stop moving cuz it's making a lot of unwanted noise due to large amount of BASS! Two thumbs up from me!

I made new friend @ a sound competition recently that was running 2 FI ssd12's on a 2000w amp while im running 4 hifonics brutus 12''(square) subs on a 3200w amp and thats how i found out just how good FI truly is dont get me wrong im beating but these subs are brutal it's one of those situations where it is better to wait save the money and the very best. I've been into car audio for 24yrs seen brands come and go and some giants fall thats how I got my a#* handed to me by 2 subs on less power wont make that mistake again FI FTW.
