The SSD Series of subwoofers is our all around daily sub. Pulling cues from the highly successful BTL series, utilizing a single high grade ferrite magnet and a heavily bumped T-yoke to allow clearance for high excursion. Now with the option for our Heli-cool system using our billet machined solid pole, the cooling capability has been massively increased. Along with triple progressive spiders, a multilayer foam surround attached to a fiber impregnated kraft pulp cone helps keep things under control in high power applications. A 3" 4 layer copper voice coil yields 20mm of Xmax while motor force high. The 10" and 12" versions come in a standard Qts for ported and a higher Qts for sealed alignments. Light weight and versatile, the SSD works in a variety of applications from incredibly detailed sound quality systems, to ground pounding multi sub monsters. The SSD is versatility redefined.

These make great lows in extremely limited space, also seem to be rated VERY accurately (no overated or inflated power handling claims here!} Would have gave the ssd a 5 star review but it did take a month from time of order to get it. Still, very worth the wait.

I have owned this sub for about 2 weeks and am not disappointed at all with this sub. This sub is built like a tank! If your looking for a great sub that can shine in any environment and be reliable in those situations, this is the sub for you.
I was very surprised on how low it got with it only being a 10"! Couldn't ask for a better subwoofer.

coming from a 10W7 i had limited air space in a sealed enclosure. I went with the the SSd10 for the extra cooling capacity....
I am so impressed with the responsiveness of this Sub. it is set to handle 950 rms and it is just what i needed for my daily driver with limited room.
hats off to these guys !!!

The ssd series is an amazing subwoofer this thing slams even in a sealed box. I got a ssd 10" with the higher QTS option for sealed because I wanted good sound quality and this sub has the best sound out of any sub I've ever owned and I have owned a lot of subs in my day! This sub hits lows really good also. You will not be disappointed with this product!!!

I purchased 2 SSD10's from Fi. I've owned them now for about a year. They have been excellent! Couldn't ask for more. They play everything I throw at them and are accurate through out the entire low end. Only issue I had was the foil colored dust cap sticker would not stick flat, so they simply sent me a new set of cap stickers. Problem solved. I would def recommend these and purchase them again.
